FixRent ("we", "us") helps landlords track rent and utilities. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. We never sell your data, and we never process or hold your tenants' rent.
What we collect
- Account data — your email and authentication details, and optional profile settings (display name, default currency and timezone).
- Data you enter — properties, units, tenants (including tenant name and contact details you choose to add), charges, meter readings, and invoices.
- Billing data — if you subscribe, your subscription status and Stripe customer reference. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Usage data — basic, privacy-friendly analytics (page views, performance) to improve the product.
How we use it
To provide the service (compute who owes what, generate invoices, send you nothing you didn't ask for), to operate your account and subscription, and to keep the product secure and reliable. Our legal basis is performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running the service.
Who we share it with
Only the processors that run FixRent: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Stripe (subscription billing). We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Where it's stored & how it's protected
Data is stored on managed infrastructure in the EU. Every record is isolated to your account with database row-level security, so other landlords can never see your data.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time — deleting your account removes your data and cascades to the records you created. To exercise any right, email us.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. Analytics is cookieless.
